Exchange and Visit to Lumbini Academy (Yangon, Myanmar)

07 March

Thank you Lumbini Academy and Silta Lumbini Preschool (Yangon, Myanmar) for hosting the BibiNogs team! We had a wonderful exchange and a fruitful time in Yangon! Your holistic education approach was inspirational, and your students’ laughters and engagement in the classrooms reminded us that learning can be, and should be, made enjoyable for all children!

BibiNogs’ Charity Event and Parent Workshop

19 December

On December 3rd, BibiNogs held its Annual Charity Event. Every year, BibiNogs organises a charity event to give back to the community, locally or abroad. This year, we were pleased to be supporting the NUHS Fund – a fund set up by National University Hospital of Singapore to support children with severe medical conditions needing funds for medical treatment.

At the same event, there was a 45-minute parent workshop conducted by our Director, Ms Joyce Lim. Joyce has 20 years of experience in the Early Childhood field and is a certified trainer. The topic of the workshop was “Primary One Preparation: Raising Resilient Kids”.

Parents had a fruitful time attending the workshop and purchasing second-hand books (and directly contributing to NUHS Fund this way), while children had a wonderful time creating crafts and engaging in hands-on activities!

BibiNogs’ Cultural and Educational Exchange with Delegates from Russia, Kazakhstan & Serbia

29 November

On 16 November 2017, delegates from  Russia, Kazakhstan and Serbia visited BibiNogs Preschool at King’s Arcade. The delegates’ goals were to: study BibiNogs’ best practices, understand our curriculum and pedagogy/teaching approaches, as well as to get to know the rich cultures and traditions that exist in Singapore. The delegates were educators, school leaders, business leaders as well as officials from government agencies.

The delegates observed our teachers and children in their classrooms. Our children engaged the delegates in activities as well as put up a performance for them. A lively and fruitful exchange then took place between the delegates and our Teachers, Principals and Directors. At the end of their visit, BibiNogs children presented the delegates with Batik art pieces that they created themselves!

Appreciation of Global Cultures – Happy Deepavali!

14 November

One of BibiNogs’ goals is to groom children to be appreciative of global cultures.

Over Deepavali, the Festival of Lights, we not only celebrated the festival but immersed ourselves in a variety of cultural activities. The children discovered so much about the festival! More importantly, the fun and hands-on activities allowed them to understand more about the Indian culture.

Teachers’ Day 2016 – A Special Day to Thank Our Teachers!

13 September

Teachers’ Day is always the most special day of the year at BibiNogs. On this day, we show gratitude to our teachers for their hard work and dedication, and shower them with the same kind of love that they give the children everyday.

On 1st of September, our centres were open only in the morning. In the afternoon, all teachers gathered at our King’s Arcade Preschool for an afternoon of celebration and pampering. The day ended with a heartwarming and lovely dinner. Happy Teachers’ Day, and Thank You, to all the wonderful teachers of BibiNogs!

Blog Mention: BibiNogs’ SG50 Celebration by Aiwei Allan

06 August

We are pleased to share a blog post by our BibiNogs parent, Aiwei Allen, on how our school celebrated the momentous SG50 National Day event together as a community, as a big happy family.

2015 is the year that Singapore celebrates her golden jubilee and we were so glad that BibiNogs organized a celebratory picnic for the children and their families. And with the inscription of Singapore Botanic Gardens as a UNESCO World Heritage Site this year, the venue of the national birthday celebration couldn’t be more appropriate.
Theo surrounded by orchid flowers, which could be found throughout SBG

I was looking forward to the school celebration as I love seeing Theo and Mia engage with their teachers and friends, and it’s also a great opportunity for me to meet with the parents of Theo and Mia’s schoolmates and the teachers/staff at BibiNogs.

It was a themed, fun-filled picnic session of quizzes about Singapore in both English and Mandarin languages, watching the children run around the open spaces (the Bougainvillea and Bamboo park was the perfect location since it was plenty huge to accommodate the active children) with their friends and interacting with the teachers/staff and parents as well…..
