On 18th April, students from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (of National University of Singapore) presented an educational and fun musical workshop to the children of BibiNogs at UE. The talented musicians introduced children to different musical terms, showcased different classical instruments and got the children to participate in a creative percussion performance. Instruments such as the cello, violin, oboe and bassoon etc. were played and they captivated the hearts of our children and parents!

Talented music students from NUS indulged children and parents with beautiful classical music

The musicians taught the children musical concepts through movement and fun actions.

The bassoon is taller than the child! We were all fascinated by the bassoon’s appearance and rich sound.

Asst. Professor Lee Pei Ming introduced various percussion instruments before handing them out to the children for a ‘joint performance’.

Thank you to all the gifted musicians, for bringing classical music to our lives. Keep up the good work!
