Build a keen interest and strong foundation for Mandarin through this class. This class immerses young preschoolers in Mandarin through meaningful themes and a variety of multi-faceted language activities.

• Curriculum is a balance between building Chinese language skills (listening, speaking, writing and reading) as well as developing children’s interest and confidence in using the Chinese language in a day-to-day context.

• Theme-based learning activities that focus on building listening and speaking skills and confidence in using Mandarin in a day-to-day context

• Language activities like Chinese nursery rhymes/poems, story-telling, dramatization, puppetry and songs.

• Hands-on activities like art & craft, object exploration, group projects and learning through movement.

• Body-Brain Kinesiology activities to stimulate physical and cognitive development

• Physical activities include gross and fine-motor/pre-writing activities to promote overall physical development of child.

• Introduction to Mandarin Phonics (Hanyu Pinyin 汉语拼音)

• No prior knowledge of Mandarin is required

• No parental involvement and socks are required

• Taught by native Mandarin-speaking teachers

• Duration:1.5 hours
