BibiNogs Preschool K.A. follows the MOE calendar that comprises 4 terms in a year, each being 10 weeks. Fees are charged based on a 10-week term.
Upon registration, all fees (including Term Fee, Registration Fee, Refundable Deposit, School Bag Fee, Uniform Fee and Insurance) need to be paid. With the exception of the Deposit, all fees paid are non-refundable. Failure to make payment by fee payment due date will not guarantee the availability of a space in the school for your child.
All parents are reminded that fees have to be paid in full by the first week of every new school term. A late charge of $25 may be incurred if payment is not received in full during the first week of a new school term. The school reserves the right to refuse the admittance to children whose parents have fees still unpaid by the due date. Should this happen, the deposit will automatically be forfeited in consideration of insufficient withdrawal notice served.
Term Fees paid are non-refundable. There will be no refund of Term Fees or rebates of any kind, if your child is absent for any period of time for any reason whatsoever or in the event of school closures mandated by relevant government authorities. Term Fees are not refundable in the event of withdrawal regardless of time, nature and/or circumstances.
There is to be no deferment of school term once enrolled.
Besides the school fee, it is mandatory to pay for the registration fee and deposit. The school will not be able to accept the enrolment of students who do not pay the registration fee and deposit.
The registration fee and deposit structure is different for holiday programmes, . Please check under fee details for the programme that your child is enrolling in for full fee info.
Even if your child is not intending to continue in the following term, parents are still required to pay for the deposit upon enrolment. Your deposit will then be processed for refund towards the end of your child’s school term.
The deposit is refundable only after the school has received sufficient notice in writing for withdrawal from the parent, otherwise it will be forfeited under all other circumstances.
Withdrawal notice needs to be served in writing with an acknowledgement slip given to the parent by the school as the receipt for notice served.
Notice period for All Classes:
6 (six) weeks starting from the preceding week of your written notice. For example, if you served the withdrawal notice on a Tuesday in Week 4 of Term 1, then your 6 weeks notice period will be calculated from Week 5 of Term 1 till end of Week 10 of Term 1 (Total of 6 weeks).
The term fees have to be paid in full for these 6 weeks.
The deposit is not to be used to offset any school fee payable during the notice period.
For students who have served sufficient written withdrawal notice, the deposit will be returned to the parents in the form of a refund cheque in Week 10 of the withdrawal term, provided there are no outstanding fees. Otherwise, the deposit will be used to deduct any outstanding amounts of any kinds owed to the school.
Once the deposit refund cheque has been issued to the parent, the parent shall be liable for any replacement cost involved in the event of lost/damaged cheque whereby a new refund cheque needs to be re-issued by the school. This includes the cheque cancellation fee imposed by the bank to void the first cheque issued. Validity is 6 months from issue date. No cheque shall be re-issued after period of validity.
The school follows strictly to the government directive whereby if your child develops a FEVER in school, or is found to have a FLU, or is suspected to have caught any forms of infections illnesses (eg. HFMD, Chicken Pox, etc), the child will be isolated and prohibited from joining the class and parents will be notified to take the child home immediately. Parents are to provide a valid contact number of a parent/guardian, this is so as to ensure that we can reach a parent/guardian in case of sickness or emergency. It is the parents’ responsibility to inform the school of changes in contact details. It is of utmost importance that valid contact details are provided to ensure the health and safety of all of our students.
Prior to entering the classrooms, temperatures of the children will be taken by the teachers or administrators (using non-contact thermometer). A quick examination of the children’s hands, feet and other exposed parts will also take place. The school reserves the rights not to admit into the class any sick students who are sent in by the parents despite being observed to be unwell. If your child has caught or is suspected to have caught an infectious disease, please kindly alert the school as soon as you know, so that action can be taken immediately to prevent the spreading of the disease.
Medical certificates must accompany absences due to illnesses. The school will also appreciate a phone call if your child is unable to attend school.
Students returning from an infectious illness need to have the certified doctor’s clearance notes to return to school. The school does not accept clearance notes from Chinese Physicians.
The school does not accept instructions from parents to administer any forms of medicine to your child/ children. If your child requires medication during the day, it will be better to keep your child at home until he/ she has fully recovered.
Please inform the school of any medical/health conditions that your child may have.
If your child takes lunch in school but has special dietary requirement (eg. Vegan diet, Vegetarian, etc.), the school will not be able to cater for such needs. The parent will be asked to send in a home lunch for your child. In this event, there will not be any fee deduction made to the school fee despite your child not able to consume the school lunch.
The school observes a nut and chocolate-free snack policy. Please refrain from sending food items with nuts or chocolate to school with your child. The school must be alerted to any food allergies a child has at the time of his/her registration.
If your child requires medication (eg. Epipen for Peanut Allergy) to be given in school as a precautionary measure in the event of outbreak, you need to fill in an indemnity form (download here) and sign on it to be given to the class teacher before any medication will be administered to your child with this condition.
Parents must abide by the centre’s licensed hours of operation. Kindly do not drop your child off prior to class commencement time, as teacher supervision in the school will only commence from the start time of your child’s class. Prior to class commencement time, teachers will need to set-up and prepare the classroom for the arrival of the students.
We urge all parents to pick up your child punctually after class. The school will appreciate a call should the parent run late for pick-up. A 15-minutes grace period for picking up your child will be given, afterwhich a late pick-up fee of $10 will apply for every 15- minute time block. This late fee must be paid when you pick up your child.
Parents and caregivers are strictly not allowed to join in the class during lesson time. Children will be received by their teachers and taken to their respective classrooms.
Please note that the school will only release the child to parents or an authorized person as indicated in the Authorized Pick-up Person Form. If there are changes to the authorized pick-up person/s, please inform the teachers or school administrator. A new Authorized Pick-up Person Form will need to be completed for any new person authorized to pick up your child. Otherwise, the school will regretfully not release the child to that person, even though the child may be familiar with that person.
During emergency situations whereby a parent needs to send in another caregiver to pick up the child at the last minute, the parent needs to call the school to provide information about the caregiver – information such as caregiver name, relationship to child, NRIC/Identity number and phone number to authorize the release of the child.
Students are required to attend school in clean uniforms. A minimum of 3 sets of uniforms is required to be purchased from the school.
